Langenargen at Lake Constance

The idyllic town of Langenargen is situated directly on the Lake Constance in the south of the Württembergian water front of Lake Constance. The view to the lake, to the Swiss water front and the Alps turns Langenargen to be the sunroom at Lake Constance. The castle Montfort was built in 1863 in Moorish style and is situated on a promontory. From here you will enjoy the wonderful panorama of Lake Constance and the Alps. Langenargen is known for its great tourism. The hotels in Langenargen are close to the water front of Lake Constance, just like our Hotel Litz is. The hotel is also situated next to the gondola harbour of Langenargen.

Harbour festival in Langenargen

The picturesque gondola harbour in Langenargen is the place for the harbour festival on 14^th of July, 11^th of August and 8^th of September. With a lot of delicious and typical food of the region you will enjoy the fantastic view on the Alps and the castle Montfort. Listen to live music.

Promenade festival in Langenargen from 29^th of July to 1^st of August

Just in time to the beginning of summer the town of Langenargen will have a colourful promenade festival. On the well-known water front promenade there are musicians and artists and a lot of summer attractions.

Bath possibilities in Langenargen

Summer feeling. The wonderful water front promenade of Langenargen offers a lot of possibilities to cool off in Lake Constance. In summer you can lay down your towel directly on the water front promenade only some steps away from the hotel. The best possibility to have a bath is the Malereck of Langenargen. The Malereck is only ten minutes walk from the hotel on the mouth of the Argen. People who love swimming will meet there in a beautiful landscape.
